Beverly Hills

Welcome to Beverly Hills

Peaceful and serene, a postcard-perfect village.

The Village of Beverly Hills  is consistently ranked as one of the top communities in Michigan to raise a family.

Established in the late 1950s, Beverly Hills is the state's largest "village," with a population of just over 10,000. Coupled with its peaceful and photogenic location, Beverly Hills has long been sought-after by families seeking a suburban-rural setting.

Homes range from mid-sized Craftsmen, perfect for early to mid-career parents, to multi-million dollar estates with room for established, generational families. Regardless of the residence, within Beverly Hills, the location is sure to be spectacular.

What to Love

  • Suburban convenience, sleepy, rural lifestyle
  • Year-round outdoor fun at Beverly Park
  • Deep commitment to education
  • Homes for every taste and family size

People & Lifestyle

One of the key factors drawing families to Beverly Hills—a quarter of the population is under the age of 18—is its strong commitment to education. Served by the Birmingham School District, Beverly Hills is home to some of the district’s—and the state's—finest schools.

Owing to its centralized seclusion—winding tree-lined streets fewer than a 15-minutes’ drive to more populous suburbs—many retirees also call Beverly Hills home.

Dining, Shopping & Entertainment

Part of the charm of Beverly Hills is the peace it offers versus the bustling locales that surround it. That said, there are also underrated dining and shopping options along Southfield Road.

Alongside both small shops and larger retail outlets, Southfield Road is home to the upbeat and lively Beverly Hills Grill. A few doors down is the Irish pub Brady's Tavern. Just across Southfield is the decadent, local favorite Achatz Handmade Pie Company, an absolute must for those looking to satisfy their sweet tooth.

Things to Do

Day-to-day life in Beverly Hills centers around the outdoors. The village has two nature preserves—the 18-acre Douglas Evan Preserve and the 14-acre Hidden Rivers Preserve.

The biggest attraction is Beverly Park. The park affords residents many opportunities to enjoy the outdoors, including two baseball fields, basketball and tennis courts, a disc golf course, sand volleyball, a large playground, a wooded natural area with trails for biking and hiking, and, in the wintertime, a sled hill and ice skating rink.

Beverly Park also hosts yearly community events, including a Memorial Day Parade and Carnival, Movies in the Park, Halloween Hoot, and a Winter Family Fun Day.
